Authentic Living – Living Who You Are

Would You Like to Meet Your Soul?

Ever wondered where your Soul lives? Does it live somewhere up in the sky outside of you? Or, perhaps, does it live closer to you…perhaps in you? The Soul is referred to by many different things – Higher Self, Authentic Self, Source Energy and so on. It doesn’t matter what you call it, what matters is how well you know it and live in co-creation with it. Your Soul is unlimited. If you wish to tap into your unlimited nature, it might be a good idea to connect with it to get to know it.

But, to do this you must be able to know where your Soul is and how to perceive it. What if your Soul didn’t live in a place at all, and to meet up with it required something other than going to a physical place? What if the place you needed to go to meet up with your Soul was more of a state of being than a physical location? The truth is your Soul is with you all the time and exists in each now moment. Because you are often somewhere else other than in the now moment you don’t know that it is here with you. The more you hang out in the now, the more you will bump into your Soul.

But, there is one more thing that is required for you to perceive your Soul. Your Soul is completely self-aware of its existence. The question is, are you? When asked this question you may say, ‘of course, I know I exist’. But is believing you exist that same as having the actual self-awareness of your existence in each now moment? You must be present in each now moment in order to perceive the moment, and in turn perceive your Soul.

If you are mentally kvetching about something that happened yesterday, you are not self present in the now. If you are worried about how something is going to work out tomorrow, you are probably not self present. So much of the average person’s time is spent in the past or the future, with little presence in the now.

As you begin to practice being self present in each now moment, you will enter a special state of being called the Flow State. It is in this place that your Soul exists. It is in this place you experience your unlimitedness and you know without a doubt that life conspires to support you.

Why Struggle? Your Source Already Has Created It For You

Yesterday I was taking a morning run through the colorful New Mexico high desert. I was doing an active meditation while running when I heard a voice say, ‘It is time to stop chasing rabbit tales.’ I was pondering the meaning of the message, the gist of which was ‘it is time to let all the old ways go and welcome the new,’ very apropos to where I am in my life now.

I looked up at the huge New Mexican sky. There were a couple large puffy clouds that looked like I could almost reach out and touch, not uncommon at 7,000 feet altitude. As I pondered meaning of the message I had just heard, I shifted my gaze down towards the dirt road when suddenly a cottontail rabbit darted in front of me, almost tripping me. I stopped running and watched the puffy little tail as it zigzagged off disappearing into the desert. I then noticed the goosebumps that had formed on my skin, and said, ‘Okay, I got the message Source.’

This morning I happened to read a quote on Facebook, the essence of which was that Divine Truth is constant, but the message is always updated in a way perfect for the consciousness at hand. In other words, your Source Energy is always there helping you, giving the perfect message needed for you in the particular now moment you happen to be in. However, so often we don’t hear it because we are somewhere else. For the self, home is the now moment. When you are not home you will not hear it when Source comes knocking at your door.

But, I digress. What I wanted to post about was how all the trying, struggling, trying to figure it out, is so unnecessary, when Source is there trying to hand you the solution. Source has already created what you desire for you. Source already has the answer the moment your question is formed. All you need to do is to allow your Source Energy to do what it desires to do…help you become more of Who you are.
